Omega 3 Support
Omega-3s are increasingly recognized for their positive impact on mental well-being, helping to alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety, stabilize mood, and support a more balanced emotional state, contributing to improved quality of life.
Omega-3 supplements offer significant advantages for overall cardiovascular and cognitive well-being. Rich in EPA and DHA, these fatty acids are crucial for maintaining healthy triglyceride levels and supporting optimal blood pressure, thereby reducing heart disease risk. Furthermore, they play a vital role in brain function, enhancing memory, focus, and overall cognitive performance, making them beneficial for individuals of all ages seeking to bolster their mental acuity.
Beyond heart and brain health, omega-3s are renowned for their potent anti-inflammatory properties. Regular supplementation can help mitigate chronic inflammation throughout the body, providing relief for conditions like arthritis and supporting healthier joints by reducing stiffness and pain.

Frequently asked questions
What are the facts about omega-3?
Omega-3 fatty acids (omega-3s) have a carbon–carbon double bond located three carbons from the methyl end of the chain. Omega-3s, sometimes referred to as n-3s, are present in certain foods such as flaxseed and fish as well as dietary supplements such as fish oil.
Who cannot take omega-3 supplements?
Fish oil supplements may interact with certain medications or supplements. Do not take them without your doctor's approval if you are on any medications (especially blood thinning drugs) or have chronic health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, or any disorder of the pancreas.
What are the guidelines for omega-3 supplements?
EPA and DHA are considered generally safe. The FDA recommends that daily intake not exceed 3 g/d of EPA and DHA combined, with no more than 2 g/d deriving from supplements. Caution is necessary when taking high doses as it may reduce immune function because of inflammatory response changes and cause bleeding problems.
